The field of HIV positive adoption is growing by "leaps and bounds," says Erin Henderson, the coordinator for HIV-positive kids at Adoption Advocates International (AAI) in Port Angeles, WA. 

A community of families with a shared passion for children with HIV is also growing. Blogs, personal websites and Yahoo groups encourage and support positive families.
